Meet Lara Portelli

My distinguished career spans the NDIS, Support Coordinator Psychosocial Recovery Coach, community health, welfare, and government sectors, including the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade where I hold a negative one security clearance.

I have built a strong reputation for leadership, adaptability, and a deep commitment to empowering others.

As a successful business owner, NLP Practitioner, Midlife Reset Mentor, acclaimed International award-winning author, TV Show Host and seasoned professional, I understand the challenges of navigating careers, business, and personal growth.

I now channel my expertise into supporting NDIS participants, families, and carers who have often faced complex systems, setbacks, trauma, or periods of feeling unheard.

The combination of industry expertise and lived experience enables me to provide reliable, compassionate support tailored to each participant’s needs.

Meet James Martin

With over 30 years in logistics and warehousing, my leadership journey has been built from the ground up, starting in entry-level roles and progressing through every layer of operations to Operations Manager for a multi-million-dollar international organisation.

I didn’t learn leadership from theory or titles. I learned it on the floor, in warehouses, and in high-pressure operational environments where people, systems, and outcomes had to work together every day. Throughout my career, one principle remained constant. People are the key. When staff are genuinely supported and looked after, everything else follows organically. Performance strengthens, culture improves, and sustainable results are achieved.

That people-first mindset is the foundation of Rise Again Collective. The same leadership principles that build strong teams, trust, structure, accountability, and compassion are the principles that support people to rebuild, grow, and move forward.

Rise Again Collective represents the natural evolution of my leadership journey. It brings together lived experience, practical systems, and day-to-day management to create environments where people feel supported, capable, and empowered.
